I love how the people who buy into it usually have it pretty good to begin with. I'm sure those kids in Africa who never have a chance to escape a small village and are slaughtered in some crazy tribal war or raped or whatever, and I'm sure the children with cancer who die painful deaths, or all the people who have no doctors to help them, the people born into families who rip them apart and destroy them, the rape victims, the murder victims, I'm sure if they would have just believed in themselves and realized this amazing law, they would have never died or had such horrible luck.

I'm sure.

There is something to being positive as far as personal health is concerned, but as far as changing the universe and all this, give me a break.

I especially love how everyone wants to say "oh no, it's quantum physics", and they have never taken a real physics class.

Also, that glass of water doesn't turn to magical snowflakes of happiness when you tell it how much you love it.

Welcome to reality, sorry. Life is hard, nature has no mercy for the weak, 92% of the population should be sterilized, prisons should be work camps, you could die at any moment or get cancer or some other horrible painful disease, even worse, you could be ignored when you try to seek help, you could experience Hell on Earth, you could win the lottery randomly, etc... and I agree, it would be nice if when you did nice things and had good intentions, the energy would come back to you perfectly, and life would be perfect. That would be nice. Unfortunately I am living proof that this stuff is another hopeful, delusional, 'in the style of religion' pseudoscience, much like the psychiatric system, the justice system, soon the world system, etc.

It's just an illusion. Watch your television, eat dead animals, make more babies, pay your taxes, drive your cars, go to work for worthless printed notes, buy your 'stuff', and shut up. Thank you.

Dittos...Someone told me of a person that had been raped by her father for 17 years since age 3 monthes. Would someone mind trying to explain how a three month old conceptualizes this let alone wishes for it?! or maybe just bad Karma? Or maybe just the bunk that it is.

What about people with panic attacks who think they're going to have a 'heart attack for sure.' Some of these people think that way every day. It rarely ever happens.

There are many panic attackers who live with the disorder for 40, 50, 60 years and never die of a heart attack.

There are many people who believe they're going to die for sure, and DON'T. Some people who were sure they were going to die from diseases and suffered for months suddenly recovered...

haven't seen the movie, but i understand that is deals with the law of attraction. the principle makes sense. it's dealt with by anyone who is serious about quantum physics. of course, they never address it as "the law of attraction" lest they lose their credibility. the concept is pretty simple. the world is separated into individuals who take responsibility for their lives and victims who blame all their misfortunes on circumstance and other people. this doesn't mean that someone who believes in the law of attraction will have an easy life of omnipotence and carefree abundance. understanding the law just allows one to understand how his own thoughts and attitude (conscious or subconscious) affect his surroundings. it is, of course, your choice to believe this stuff or not, but taking into account basic psychology, victim consciousness always results in a shitty life. responsibility is always the key to getting your life under control.

I couldn't agree with you more. With all the hype around the movie, I checked it out for myself a few months ago. I think I made it to the 10 minute mark before I turned it off. It's scary that people actually buy stuff like this. It is almost criminal to produce stuff like this without a disclaimer....almost as bad as scientology...or any religion for that matter.

Ok..i'll stop my rant.

cheers,
